1. Who we are and what PointSnipe does

PointSnipe ("PointSnipe", "we", "us") is a monitoring and alerting service for publicly available hotel pricing information. You tell us where you want to stay, when, and the most you are willing to pay in cash or in loyalty points; we periodically observe publicly available rates and notify you when a rate we observe falls below your limit.

We are not a travel agency and we do not sell rooms.We never take payment for hotel stays, never hold inventory, and never book on your behalf. Every alert links you to the hotel chain's own website, where you book directly under the chain's own terms.

PointSnipe is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Marriott International, Hyatt Hotels Corporation, or Hilton Worldwide. All chain and brand names are used only to identify the hotels whose public prices we observe.

2. Accuracy of information — estimates only

Prices and award rates shown by PointSnipe are estimates observed at scan time. Hotel prices change constantly; availability can vanish between our observation and your booking; taxes, fees, and currency conversion may differ at checkout. Every price in the product displays when it was last checked. Always verify the current rate on the hotel's website before relying on it. We make no warranty that any rate we show remains available or accurate.

3. Your account

  • You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of your account email and for keeping your credentials secure. Alerts are only as good as the inbox they reach.
  • One person per account. Plans and their limits (number of watches, check frequency, alert channels) are described on the pricing page and enforced by the service.

4. Subscriptions, billing, and refunds

  • Paid subscriptions are processed by Paddle as merchant of record. Paddle handles payment processing, applicable VAT and sales taxes, invoices, and payment disputes under its own terms.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically (monthly or yearly) until canceled. You can cancel anytime from your billing settings; access continues to the end of the paid period.
  • 14-day refund policy: if you are unhappy with a new subscription for any reason, request a refund within 14 days of first payment and we will grant it, no questions asked.
  • "Founding Flock" pricing is locked for the life of the subscription while it remains continuously active.

5. Acceptable use

  • Personal, non-commercial use only. Don't resell, redistribute, or republish data obtained from PointSnipe.
  • No scraping, crawling, or programmatic extraction of the PointSnipe service or its data.
  • No attempts to circumvent plan limits, probe, or disrupt the service.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with a pro-rated refund of any unused paid period unless the violation is willful abuse.

6. Intellectual property

The PointSnipe software, design, name, and mark are ours. Factual price observations are facts; the compilation, presentation, and history we build from them are part of the service and covered by §5. Hotel chain names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant uninterrupted operation, that every price drop will be caught, or that alerts will always arrive in time to book. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including the value of a missed rate, points redemption, or booking.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Data & privacy; deletion cascades through your watches, alerts, and personal data. We may terminate or suspend the service with reasonable notice, or immediately for abuse.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be announced by email or in-app at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance.

10. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Questions, notices, refund requests: support@pointsnipe.com.
